After the success of Colchester A1 Models GOLDCAT 54 / falcon 120 we now have a new twin boomed plane for fully enclosed turbines or I.C. engines.The model is designed to take 54 to 60 size turbine , 150 to 180 2 stroke or 180 4 stroke I.C.engines. It has a fibreglass fuselage with detachable 2 piece main wing with ailerons and detachable booms and tailplane and of course is retract ready.
The fourmost 160 does not have flaps but our version of this model which we call the EUROPA 54 will have flaps fitted as we feel these are essential for turbine operation.
Wingspan is 76," length 71" and weighs about 14.5 lbs with turbine fitted.
