The Huey was the first turbine powered helicopter to enter production for the US Military and is most famously know for its service in the Vietnam War. This scale licensed Huey body is based on that famous helicopter and combined with the SR flight characteristics, is a great combination of scale and performance for a ready to fly model.

The SR Huey, is based on the Blade SR platform making it ideal for intermediate to advanced CCPM pilots looking for a scale helicopter in a convenient ready to fly package. It's also a great helicopter for anyone who has previously flown a single-rotor fixed-pitch helicopter.

It comes out of the box programmed to provide a softer climb, pitch and roll response around the center of stick movement whilst the Bell-Hiller mixing equipped rotor head not only offers superb cyclic response, it makes the Huey very stable and easy to fly.

This, combined with the tough, two-piece main frame and lower head speed, makes the Blade SR Huey more forgiving and easier to master than most conventional CP helicopters.

Included with the model is a 3S 11.1V 1000mAh LiPo battery with charge protection circuitry that gives an excellent balance of weight, power and duration. The E-flite 3S 0.8A DC Li-Po Balancing Charger supplied can be easily powered by a 12V battery but the additional AC to 12VDC 1.5 Amp Power supply allows the use of the charger anywhere standard AC outlets are available.
The SR Huey features a faithfully licensed rendition of the iconic Huey body, and combined with the Blade SR flight characteristics, delivers a great combination of scale and performance for a ready to fly model. An additional light kit is also available to add to the scale gunship armament details already featured on the Huey.
